Chainsaw Safety Training

Maple Producers of NE Ohio are presenting a Chainsaw Safety Training with Kevin Snyder, Maple instructor for the Game of Logging Training Organization. It will focus on introducing the participant to open face felling and the development of techniques to safely use it. Topics covered: personal protective equipment, chainsaw safety features, chainsaw reactive forces, bore cutting, pre-planning the fell, and understanding hinge wood strength. Date: October 13.
