About The Event

Join us for a hands-on workshop where we dive into the details of maple syrup grading. We’ll cover the official color grades—from Delicate to Very Dark—and show you how to accurately test for density (Brix) and clarity. You’ll also get to participate in a guided tasting to help you identify different flavor profiles and learn how to spot common off-flavors. Whether you’re a hobbyist or a seasoned producer looking to improve your skills or make a better product, you’ll walk away with the tools to grade your own syrup with confidence.
